Member Despell, beneficiary of an ACCIÓ grant for international promotion projects
At Leather Cluster Barcelona we monitor funding opportunities for our members’ projects.
In this regard, the cluster is developing its advisory service for grants and subsidies with the aim of guiding, supporting and helping members to manage grants and subsidies for their projects and initiatives.
With this service, Leather Cluster Barcelona keeps its members up to date on the various forms of aid, funding channels and internationalisation opportunities, such as the specific aid lines and programmes managed by ACCIÓ.
In this context, we are pleased to announce that our member Despell has been awarded an ACCIÓ grant – Subsidies for international promotion projects 2025, intended to strengthen the presence of Catalan companies in international markets and trade fairs.
This grant was preceded by a preparation and advisory meeting with Leather Cluster Barcelona, at which the various aid lines, the eligibility criteria and the key aspects of project justification were explained in detail.
We would like to congratulate Despell on this new step in its internationalisation strategy. At Leather Cluster Barcelona, we continue to work together to support the growth and competitiveness of the leather sector, and we encourage all members interested in receiving information and advice on the various forms of aid to get in touch with us.
Leather Cluster Barcelona is strengthening this advisory service for grants and subsidies in response to one of the concerns raised by its members during the personalised visits carried out by the cluster’s working team.
As a reminder, since July the management of Leather Cluster Barcelona has been holding individual meetings with the cluster’s members. The initiative forms part of the member loyalty and recruitment strategy of the 2025-2030 Master Plan, drawn up by the new management of Leather Cluster Barcelona and presented to the Board of Directors on 23 May.
Leather Cluster Barcelona is an environment of competitive cooperation for promoting cross-cutting, transformative strategic projects with the aim of driving forward the ecosystem of the Catalan leather sector within the framework of Shared Value policies. The cluster is an accredited body within the Catalonia Clusters programme and has the support of Acció.
