The meeting promoted by Leather Cluster Barcelona seeks to strengthen the bond between its members

On Monday 15 September, a presentation of Artesano Factory was given to the students of the leather training courses at the La Gaspar Municipal School of Art and Design in Igualada.

This meeting was promoted by Leather Cluster Barcelona as part of its member loyalty strategy, in order to strengthen the Artesano Factory marketplace.

Artesano Factory was founded with the firm purpose of supporting the talent and creativity of artisans and companies in the world of leather. It is a marketplace specialising in the sale of leather, tools and dyes for workshops, companies and artisans. Its platform aims to make it easier to connect its customers with leather factories, allowing direct access to high-quality products and avoiding unnecessary intermediaries.

La Gaspar of Igualada is committed to an ambitious growth project that seeks to position it as a benchmark at national and international level in the field of neo-craftsmanship in leather. With a clear focus on professionalising training, centred on educating students who can enter the labour market quickly. The methodology fosters skills in leather design, prototyping and production, creating professionals capable of meeting the sector's needs.

This meeting between La Gaspar and Artesano Factory forms part of the member loyalty and recruitment strategy of the 2025-2030 Master Plan, drawn up by the new management of Leather Cluster Barcelona. The initiative seeks to optimise internal cohesion and boost member participation in order to build a cluster that is stronger, better connected, more useful and more widely recognised.

During the working session between these two members of Leather Cluster Barcelona, it was agreed that Artesano Factory will be a materials supplier for La Gaspar and also that they will develop a joint project, of which we will share further details in due course.
