On 1 July, Leather Cluster Barcelona organised, together with Connect-IN, an information session devoted to the main national and regional grants, subsidies and funding opportunities aimed at companies in the leather sector.

Connect-IN is an internationalisation support agent for ACCIÓ and an accredited consultancy in the field of internationalisation. The company also has a service specialising in the processing of public grants and subsidies.

The session, delivered by Sílvia Jané, brought together a number of member companies interested in learning about the funding routes available to drive projects in innovation, sustainability, internationalisation, digitalisation and improved competitiveness.

During the session, various open calls were presented, along with their eligibility requirements, assessment criteria and the main recommendations for preparing proposals with a greater chance of success. The session also provided an opportunity to answer questions and to advise companies on how their projects fit the different lines of support available.

This session forms part of the grants and subsidies advisory service that Leather Cluster Barcelona is promoting with the aim of guiding, accompanying and supporting member companies in identifying and managing resources for their projects and initiatives.

Through this service, the cluster continuously monitors the main calls, funding routes and internationalisation opportunities.
