The new LEATECH Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree promoted by the UdL together with the universities of EGE (Turkey), ITECH (France) and CIATEC (Mexico), with the support of COTANCE, Acexpiel and Leather Cluster Barcelona, has so far received 34 pre-registrations from international students. The pre-registration process will close on 31 May 2023, so we encourage all those who may be interested not to miss the opportunity to take part.
34 students from fifteen different countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Bulgaria, as well as China, Mexico, Turkey, Kenya, Morocco, Uruguay, the Philippines, Ethiopia and Bangladesh, have completed the registration process available on the LEATECH website (leatechmaster.com). The new LEATECH master’s degree will host a total of 25 students with outstanding academic records in each of the 5 planned editions.
Once the pre-registration process has closed, each student must submit the documents required on the LEATECH website. The UdL will notify provisional admission results by email, no later than 30 June 2023. In the first edition of the master’s degree, students will be admitted provisionally pending the result of the LEATECH consortium in the European Commission call (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-PEX-EMJM-MES), which will be announced in July 2023.
The UdL will publish the provisional list of admitted students on 3 July 2023. Admitted students must confirm whether they accept their place before 10 July 2023. Those students admitted provisionally must send copies of their degree certificates and transcripts before final acceptance. Students are expected to arrive at UdL-Igualada during the first week of October 2023 in order to complete their official registration. Future editions of the LEATECH joint master’s degree will follow the same student selection criteria.
