Cromogenia Units, winner of the Foment del Treball Ferrer Salat Award in the internationalisation category

On 27 June, the Drassanes Reials in Barcelona hosted the Business Day celebration held by Foment del Treball Nacional, the oldest employers’ organisation in Europe, founded in 1771. The event included the presentation of the organisation’s annual Medals of Honour, as well as the 15th Carles Ferrer Salat Awards.

The award in the Internationalisation category went to the Leather Cluster Barcelona member Cromogenia Units, a company which this year celebrates 80 years of firm commitment to quality, research and respect for the environment. Cromogenia Units has 10 production plants located in various countries, including Spain, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, the USA and China. The recognition was given in appreciation of the deployment of its production and after-sales infrastructure across the world in order to offer a complete technical service to its customers wherever they need it.

By institutionalising its annual Carles Ferrer Salat awards, the organisation seeks to recognise and thank leading figures in our community for their effort and determination and for their commitment to social and business development.
