Colomer 1792 SLU continues the legacy of the company Colomer Munmany, the legendary Vic tannery with more than two hundred years of history.

A leader in the sector, over more than two centuries Colomer contributed knowledge and technology that is still a global benchmark in the leather industry today. All this know-how and prestige aroused the interest of the Chinese multinational Henan Prosper, which acquired the expertise of Colomer Munmany, a precedent that gave rise to Colomer 1792 SLU.

In October 2019, the Chinese group Henan Prosper, one of the world's leather sector giants, established its operational, logistics and commercial base for the whole of Europe in Les Masies de Voltregà through Colomer 1792 SLU.

The Chinese company invested five million euros in the construction of facilities of more than 5,000 square metres. Colomer 1792 SLU is the Chinese group's benchmark centre in Europe and offers raw hides, semi-processed leather and finished leather. In this way, Henan Prosper provides a better distribution and sales service to its European customers in terms of the finished product (nappa, double face and leather for decoration), as well as gaining direct access to the market for the purchase of fresh raw materials in Spain.

Based on a highly professional workforce, an experienced research and innovation department and a strong sales department working hand in hand with customers worldwide, Colomer 1792 SLU presents two seasonal collections of leather articles in double face, nappa and suede, with a feel and appearance adapted to fashion, in order to supply the clothing, footwear, leather goods, glove-making and leather accessories industries.
